Established in 2011, the Madame Grey Estate is the studio and private art collection of creative director Cassandra Grey. At the heart of Grey’s curatorial point of view is a reverence for estate catalogues: tangible proof of a life well lived, as documented in a book of treasured possessions left behind. Grounded in the belief that a signature scent can be the most defining characteristic of an individual’s legacy, the Estate introduces its debut personal scent, the Madame Grey extrait de parfum, produced in a limited edition of 1,100 bottles, each handcrafted in France. To celebrate its release, the Estate has partnered with the esteemed FD Gallery, in Manhattan, to showcase the fragrance within a curation of estate jewelry and decorative objects, which is presented in a public sale from June 2 to 7, 2025.

The Madame Grey Estate is headquartered on New York’s Upper East Side, a neighborhood with its own provenance. These blocks are the stomping grounds of artists and collectors who frequent the nearby museums and galleries. It’s a place of coiffed hair, manicured flower beds, treasures behind closed doors.
