THE MADAME GREY ESTATE

Established in 2011, the Madame Grey Estate is the studio and private art collection of creative director Cassandra Grey. At the heart of Grey’s curatorial point of view is a reverence for estate catalogues: tangible proof of a life well lived, as documented in a book of treasured possessions left behind. Grounded in the belief that a signature scent can be the most defining characteristic of an individual’s legacy, the Estate introduces its debut personal scent, the Madame Grey extrait de parfum, produced in a limited edition of 1,100 bottles, each handcrafted in France. To celebrate its release, the Estate has partnered with the esteemed FD Gallery, in Manhattan, to showcase the fragrance within a curation of estate jewelry and decorative objects, which is presented in a public sale from June 2 to 7, 2025.

The Madame Grey Estate is headquartered on New York’s Upper East Side, a neighborhood with its own provenance. These blocks are the stomping grounds of artists and collectors who frequent the nearby museums and galleries. It’s a place of coiffed hair, manicured flower beds, treasures behind closed doors. This is a fitting backdrop for the Estate, which subscribes to the notion that a life without beauty is a life not worth living.
