This striking ring—set with two pear-shaped cabochon corals, emeralds, and diamonds in a feather-like gold mounting—was once part of the legendary collection of Elizabeth Taylor. Known for her affinity for bold, animal-inspired designs by David Webb, Taylor assembled a menagerie of his creations, including enamel-striped tigers and beaded lion bracelets. This piece, equally animated in spirit, stands as a vivid expression of her eye for theatrical elegance. One of the few pieces in this curation to come from a landmark public sale, it remains a rare and intimate link to Taylor’s celebrated legacy.
