Founded in 1842 by Gustav Fabergé in Saint Petersburg, Russia, the House of Fabergé gained international acclaim under his son, Peter Carl Fabergé. A master goldsmith renowned for his meticulous craftsmanship, Carl elevated the family business, attracting royal patronage across Europe. While Fabergé is most famous for its Imperial Easter eggs, commissioned by Tsar Alexander III, the house also produced a series of wearable pieces that captured nature’s essence in precious materials. This oak leaf and acorn brooch, featuring pear-shaped diamonds of 2.31 and 2.4 carats, reflects the symbolic motif of endurance and wisdom. Though the Russian Revolution of 1917 marked the end of the original Fabergé House, its legacy of exceptional craftsmanship endures.
